Standup Paddle Board Sizing
Standup paddle boarding is a fantastic way to explore area rivers, ponds and lakes. Having a board that is sized appropriately can make it a more enjoyable experience. The closer you are to a board's suggested weight minimum, the more stable the board will be. The closer you are to a board's suggested weight maximum, the more unstable the board will be. This requires more use of leg and core muscles to stabilize the board providing an additional work out. In the end, it does come down to your personal preference. Use the size chart as a guideline and go from there.
